Designed to deliver professional-quality sound, the 15″ JBL EON715 is a 1,300-watt portable PA speaker that’s highly versatile and easy to use, designed for today’s musicians, singer-songwriters, mobile DJs, and other sound professionals.

The speaker works in a variety of orientations and configurations and can be used as a main sound system or a stage monitor. When used as a main speaker, a pair of EON715s is well-suited to cover an audience of 300 people.

A pushbutton and an LCD menu display on the back of the speaker allow you to physically switch between optimized use-case presets. The built-in DSP allows the user to control the 3-channel mixer and the integrated dbx DriveRack, which offers automatic feedback suppression (AFS), an 8-band output equalizer, microphone attenuation, and a 100-millisecond speaker delay.

Two inputs (Ch. 1 and Ch. 2) feature XLR-1/4″ combo jacks with gain controls and signal/clipping indicators. The third channel is the Bluetooth 5.0 input for wireless audio streaming.

With independent inputs, the EON715 is an excellent choice for any singer-songwriter or solo artist who plays an instrument. You have independent control over microphone and instrument levels, while the Bluetooth input provides backing tracks or background music between sets.

It also features an XLR Thru output for daisy-chaining additional speakers or other audio equipment. All mono inputs are internally mixed into a single mono signal and output via the XLR Pass-Thru connector. For true L/R stereo operation, two EON715s are required, with each receiving the left and right signals independently.

The highly efficient 1,300-watt amplifier powers the 15″ woofer and 1″ compression driver, which deliver a full-range sound (55 Hz to 20 kHz) with a sound pressure level powerful enough to ensure that the entire audience can hear your performance. JBL’s redesigned high-frequency horn ensures uniform coverage from front to back with a dispersion pattern of 90°H x 60°V. The EON715 includes a power cord.

Connectivity and Control
The built-in Bluetooth 5.0 audio streaming takes advantage of the protocol’s latest capabilities for reduced latency, a wider range, and improved audio fidelity. Two combo inputs and an XLR relay round out the connectivity options.
